Warranty

Your straps are covered by the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law. Here's what that means for a faulty strap and how to make a claim.

What's covered

Under the Australian Consumer Law your straps must be of acceptable quality, match their description and be fit for their purpose. If the ratchet mechanism, hooks, webbing or, on the Retractable, the housing and retracting mechanism fails because of how it was made rather than how it was used, we'll repair it, replace it or refund it.

What isn't a fault

  • Normal wear from use, including fading of printed webbing and scuffing.
  • Cuts, abrasion or burns to the webbing, and damage from sharp edges.
  • Overloading, shock loading or towing, or use as anything other than a tie-down.
  • Straps that have been modified, repaired by someone else or stored wet and corroded.

How to make a claim

Gather the details

Your order number (or proof of purchase), which strap it is, and a few clear photos of the problem.

Send it through

Use the contact form and choose "Return or warranty". Describe what happened and how the strap was being used.

We assess and fix it

We'll reply by email. If we need the strap back to inspect it we'll tell you where to send it. Approved claims are repaired, replaced or refunded, your choice where the law provides one.

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

This warranty is in addition to those rights, not instead of them.
