1. Who we are

This website, straponz.com.au, is operated by STRAPZ PTY LTD (ABN 34 681 430 633), trading as Strap Onz ("we", "us"). Our warehouse is in Burleigh Heads, Queensland, Australia. Contact: hello@straponz.com.au.

By placing an order or using this site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Products

  • We sell ratchet tie-down straps and related accessories.
  • Product images are for illustration. Webbing designs are printed and may vary slightly from the images.
  • Where a product's lashing capacity or break strength is stated on its product page or marked on the product, the strap must be used within that rating. Straps must be inspected before each use and retired if cut, frayed, abraded or otherwise damaged. Tie-downs are not lifting equipment and must not be used to lift, tow or secure people.
  • You are responsible for securing your load in accordance with the law in your state or territory (including the Load Restraint Guide) and for checking the load before and during travel.

3. Orders and pricing

  • All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST unless stated otherwise. Shipping is charged as shown at checkout.
  • We may change prices at any time, but a price change does not affect an order we have already accepted.
  • An order is accepted when we send the order confirmation email. We may refuse or cancel an order, for example if a product is out of stock, a price or description was displayed in error, or we suspect fraud. If we cancel, we refund any payment in full.
  • Multi-pack pricing applies to the pack sizes offered on the product page; the pack size you ordered is shown on your order confirmation.

4. Payment

Payment is taken at checkout through Shopify Payments and the payment methods shown at checkout. We do not store your card details.

5. Shipping

Shipping is covered by our Shipping policy, which forms part of these terms. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery to the address you gave us.

6. Returns, refunds and consumer guarantees

Our Refund policy forms part of these terms.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

7. Faulty products and consumer guarantees

We do not offer a separate manufacturer's warranty. Your rights for faulty products come from the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law described in section 6. If a product is faulty, contact us with proof of purchase and a description and photo of the fault. Normal wear, cuts, abrasion, fading, overloading, shock loading, misuse or modification are not faults. For a valid claim we will repair, replace or refund the product as the Australian Consumer Law requires, and we will cover the cost of returning a faulty product.

8. Intellectual property

Strap Onz, GripLockz, StrapLockz, the webbing designs and all content on this site are owned by or licensed to us. You may not copy, reproduce or use them commercially without our written permission.

9. Website use

  • You must be at least 18, or using the site under the supervision of an adult, to place an order.
  • You must not use the site for any unlawful purpose, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or interfere with its operation.
  • We aim to keep the site accurate and available but do not guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim that is not covered by a non-excludable guarantee is limited, at our option, to replacing or repairing the goods or refunding their price, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Our Privacy policy explains how we handle your personal information.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on the site at the time you place an order applies to that order.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
